The 3d Map
This is where the fun is. Book Cliffs is great. I like the trails there, but the really scenic and challenging trails are here on the South side of I-70.
As you head West on I-70 out of Fruita, you can take either the Loma or Mack exits and turn left (Refer to the Fruita Mountain Biking guide book for more specific directions). There is a little something for everyone here. If you like epic, scenic rides or shorter, more technical rides, there is definitely a trail for you at the Kokopelli Trail Area. There is a wonderful beginners loop and lots of trails for intermediates.
Don't forget your car keys.

You'll never know who you'll meet in Fruita.
Ara and I bumped into one of the Trek mechanics coming back from the Worlds in Vail in 2001. We chatted for a while. The guy liked us because we were the first people who didn't accost him asking where he was hiding Lance.
I'm a geek!
